Being Healthy Needs To Be Easy

Being healthy needs to be easy.

I seriously do not have the energy for anything complicated.

I don’t have the energy to whip up complicated DIYs so I can avoid all the chemicals lurking in our personal care products or even the easy ones sometimes. I don’t have the energy to spend ten hours at the gym to get fit. I don’t have the energy to come home after work to create elaborate and healthful meals. I don’t have the energy to make my own green cleaning products and then use them to clean.

I just don’t have the energy.
I don’t have the energy because chronic stress, anxiety, and depression are exhausting. hypothyroidism is exhausting. Adrenal fatigue is exhausting. Leaky gut is exhausting.

Life is exhausting!

You’re probably exhausted too, aren’t you?

But we still need to be healthy. Somehow. We still need to take care of ourselves.

We still need to avoid the chemicals in our shampoo, soap, and makeup; we need to get our bodies moving; we need to eat healthy (and delicious!) meals; we need to stop poisoning our homes as we try to keep them clean (or at least looking clean, am I right?).

We owe it to ourselves and to our families to take care of ourselves. We deserve to be healthy and to get there without killing ourselves because that kind of defeats the point.

So let’s do it!

Let’s make being healthy as easy as possible.
